CR Expiration

The current “continuing resolution” for FY 2025, or “CR,” expires at midnight on this day. On December 21, 2024, President Joe Biden signed into law a continuing resolution temporarily funding that portion of the US Federal Government that receives annual appropriated resources from Congress. A CR is a temporary funding method that sets funding at, generally, the levels of the prior fiscal year until regular, full-year appropriations (in this case for FY 2025) are enacted. This is the second CR of FY 2025; the first was for the period October 1, 2024 through December 20, 2024.
