Election - Germany

Germany will hold a “snap election” on this day in response to the the collapse of the country’s ruling coalition on December 16, 2024, when the country’s legislative body, Germany’s parliament or “Bundestag,” voted to dissolve the government. Following the elections, members of the Bundestag will vote to choose the country’s chancellor.
